The red meat industry is at a watershed moment and must embrace change if it is to secure a sustainable and profitable future, a major conference organised by the Industry Forum for Red Meat heard this week. Peter Barr, chairman of the forum said: "We have to embrace change." He said the forum had identified 10 key recommendations and it was in talks with government and other sources for the funds needed to bring them to life.
