Red Square has signed one of the newest faces in comedy to star in its latest television commercials. Avid Merrion, who fronts Channel 4 series Bo Selecta, will feature in four commercials for the PPS starting later this month. Richard Clark, marketing manager at Halewood International, said: "Through previous campaigns such as Destination Red Square, Red Square has established itself as a mainstream brand. "To build on our position we wanted to introduce added attitude and credibility to the brand. "Avid Merrion is part of a new generation of comedians, with a wide appeal to our 18-to-24 target audience." The campaign will also incorporate outdoor and press executions, point of sale material, sponsorship, and radio promotions.
