Positioned as an accessory for nights out and parties, the spray will be available from next month until the end of the year. It retails at £2.99 and is aimed at teenage girls and young women the Impulse brand's primary target audience.
It combines light-reflective particles with the brand's latest fragrance, Siren, which is currently featuring in a £3.5m TV ad campaign.
Brand manager Nicola Pearson said glitter and shimmer products particularly appealed to young women.
"The face and body make-up market is growing through shimmer propositions," said Pearson. She added that the new product would encourage more consumers to use bodyspray, as well as adding extra usage occasions.
