The Responsible Drinks Retailing Campaign for 2005 was launched at the Houses of Parliament this week, attended by politicians, national media and key trade figures.
The campaign, launched last year by The Grocer’s sister publications Morning Advertiser and OLN, was hosted by OLN editor Graham Holter, MA editor Andrew Pring and the chairman of the All Party Parliamentary beer group, John Grogan MP. Grogan noted: “It is impressive the way retailers have phased out 241 promotions.” Holter said there was a good response from the off-trade last year and he hope for an even better one this year.
