Britvic announced today that its sales are up 11% on the previous year for the 12 weeks to 20 December, taking revenues to £242.7m.

The growth was driven by UK sales of Britvic's carbonated drinks, which grew 20.1% – however its UK sales of still drinks were also up a solid 9.6%.

Every one of Britvic's carbonate brands saw 'impressive' growth in the period, especially Pepsi, 7UP and Tango.

Long-established brands such as Robinsons squash and J2O, alongside more recently-introduced brands such as Fruit Shoot H2O and Gatorade, drove Britvic's stills volume growth.

The UK also outperformed Britvic International, which posted growth of 5.1%.
