Saxby’s has completed a major senior management restructure during what it has described as its most significant new product development programme for more than a decade.
The ready-to-use pastry and meat products manufacturer, which has more than 400 staff, has made several appointments as it seeks to accelerate its current expansion programme.
Brian Homewood has been appointed operations director. He has 25 years of experience in the food industry and previously worked for sandwich specialist Buckingham Foods.
Saxby’s new retail sales manager is Tim Rawlings, who joins from Lactalis. Darren Surrey, formerly with Daniels Chilled Foods, takes up the post of purchasing manager to streamline supply and implement cost efficiencies.
