Schwartz, the UK leading brand from McCormick & Company, the world's largest herb and spice company, is launching a new generation of recipe mixes that are set to maximise profit opportunities for retailers.
The market leader is responding to consumer demand for modernised flavours and targeting younger health-conscious consumers who are currently not buying recipe mixes. The new mixes are blends of whole herbs and spices that are roasted for a full flavour to achieve a more authentic home-cooked look. They are available in five flavours, including Indian Chicken Biryani, American Spicy Meatballs, Jamaican Jerk Chicken, Mexican Fajita and Tex Mex Chilli Con Carne (rsp: 95p).
A TV advertising campaign will support the range from next month with a £1.5m media investment, while a targeted PR campaign within women's press will highlight usage occasions and communicate the health benefits of the range.
