Mountstevens' remit includes off-licence groups such as First Quench and Unwins. Lawson fills a post which has only recently been created following ScotCo's decision to divide the role of trading director for grocery and specialists. He previously worked for ScotCo in the on-trade sector for 12 years.
The company expects to appoint a trading director for grocery in the New Year.
