The Glenlivet Distillery has released the second whisky from its ongoing Cellar Collection  a 30 Year Old American Oak Finish. With a strength of 48% alcohol, the top notch tipple is even rarer than last year's 1967 release with only 2,500 bottles available. The vintage is currently only available in the UK and selected Duty Free outlets and was chosen by Master Distiller Jim Cryle, formerly manager at The Glenlivet during the 1990s. He has overall responsibility of picking the Cellar Collection range. Taken from just a few casks, the latest edition to the range was given an extra twist by being transferred into new heavily charred American white oak barrels. The whisky, contained in 70cl bottles, is being sold from next month exclusively at Oddbins, rsp £125. {{DRINKS }}
