A new trade body has been set up to give goat dairy producers a stronger voice.

The Goat Dairy Trade Association is made up of seven companies, including Delamere Dairy, St Helen's Farm and Anthony Rowcliffe, and will discuss key issues affecting the sector. It will be run by a secretariat provided by the PTF.

"There is a need to raise the profile of this important niche industry, to protect its interests and to ensure that it has a voice in all matters that might affect its future development," said chairman Liz Sutton, joint MD of Delamere.
