A recruitment fair and seminar programme, showcasing career opportunities in the food and drinks industry, will run alongside Food & Drink Expo 2004 at Birmingham’s NEC, the biggest gathering of regional and international food and drink companies in the UK.
The event will run over three days, starting on Monday, March 15, with a series of seminars on food service and the hospitality sector, including a talk on career paths by Calum Ross, managing director of UBF Foodsolutions, part of Unilever Bestfoods.
Speakers from Sainsbury and Nestlé will be among the line-up on day two looking at jobs in food and drink retail.
Day three will cover food and drink manufacturing, with a presentation from Tesco looking at the relationship between retailers and manufacturers.
Exhibitors seeking prospective employees at the recruitment fair will include, Nestlé, Big Food Group, Hilton, Royal Navy, Harvey Nichols, Moy Park, Atkinson Page and CPA. Attendance is free and includes a guided tour of Food & Drink Expo, but there is a limit of 300 delegates a day.
