Hairspray market leader Silvikrin is celebrating its debut in other styling products with its first packaging facelift for 10 years.
And brand owner Wella is backing the new arrivals with a £2.9m marketing spend including TV ads planned for the autumn.
The newcomers consist of Blow Dry spray and Mousse which focus on 24-hour volume and three finishing products ­ Texture Wax, Smoothing Cream and Control Gelee (rsp: £1.89 - £2.99).
Packaging retains the brand's trademark dark green livery but with a matt finish rather than shiny, an updated logo, and streamlined shapes.
Wella aims to grab a chunk of the buoyant styling market by increasing consumers' repertoire and halt the decline of the hairspray sector.
