C-store and forecourt operator Snax24, which is ranked 18 in The Grocer Top 50 of independent retailers, has signed a distribution deal with online wholesaler Blueheath to supply its 50 UK outlets.
The decision was made after trials in stores in Yorkshire and Arundel launched at the start of the year. The two companies will work closely together to develop a tailored range for Snax24.
The chain's MD Bill Ahearn said: "Blueheath's online ordering system enables us to regulate purchases from suppliers more efficiently.
"Its service works in real time, we can place orders immediately without waiting for a rep to phone.
"We can also use the system to ensure store compliance on merchandising, pricing and promotions."
