BP is focusing on the south of England as it continues to roll out its £1.5m solar powered Connect forecourts. All 10 of the next scheduled Connect openings are in the London commuter belt, with Farnham in Surrey next on the list. There are no plans yet to add to the three-strong Connect portfolio in Scotland. BP has so far refurbished 72 of its forecourts as Connect outlets, scaling back plans for 80 openings in 2001. The Connect all-in-one footprint includes hi-tech pumps, carwash, 24 hour cafe, shop, internet kiosks, an off licence or entertainments concession, postbox, cashpoint and national lottery terminal. {{NEWS }}
