McCormick Foods is aiming to perk up the wet herbs and spices sector by relaunching its Schwartz jars in revamped packaging.
Available now, the reformulated 15-strong product range will sport new labels with more contemporary photography. Each 95g glass jar will retail at between £1.19 and £1.49.
A spokeswoman said the range was an extension of the brand’s dried herbs and spice collection.
“Consumers want food that tastes great but don’t want to spend a lot of time doing it,” she added. “Now they can have the benefits of fresh without any of the bother.”
The company said the new wet sector was showing growth of almost 2% year-on-year.
