An industrywide technical standard for the sourcing of non-GM soya and maize has been developed by the British Retail Consortium and the Food & Drink Federation. The Technical Standard for Identity-Preserved Systems in the Supply of Non GM Products has pooled current best practice processes to develop an industry standard for the whole supply chain.
