Britvic predicts still drinks will make up 55% of its revenue mix within three years compared with 50% now as carbonates continue to lose their fizz.

On Thursday the company reported a pre-tax profit for the year to 30 September of £61.3m, up 9.7%, on sales up 5.7% to £716.3m. Sales volumes of J2O grew by 7% over the year while the company's portfolio of Pepsi carbonates gained just 1.6%. Its Pennine Spring water brand grew by 8.8% over the year.
