Former Year of Food and Farming programme director Tony Cooke has launched Ingredian, a new agency aimed at helping companies achieve business improvement and long-term sustainability.

Ingredian was formed last week to offer corporate responsibility and change management consultancy, as well as campaign design and social marketing.

Cooke, who said his business was already in discussions with potential clients in the retail, foodservice, distribution and packaging sectors, has 15 years of experience in sustainability and change management in food. He has also been a Defra consultant and worked on a LEAF demonstration farm, as well as working on his family's farm since 1994.

"I want to move beyond bolting on green credentials and towards sustainability permeating company culture, brand values and market positioning," he said.
