Adele Peak, 30, is a geography teacher in Haywards Heath, West Sussex My first impression of this was encouraging. An Australian white, reasonably priced, with an elegant, modern bottle and a stylish label. Moreover, the description on the label was tempting, promising a beautifully balanced drinkable wine'. The wine is a pale straw colour with a piercing aroma, very crisp and refreshing, but a hint of acid is also detectable. The wine has a strong taste which is direct and sharp. The citrus flavours are refreshing, but then the acid taste hits your mouth. In my opinion it lacks body, but the label does say it is light to medium bodied. As a regular Chardonnay drinker, I feel this wine is too sharp and lacks balance (contrary to the promise on the label). The Semillon grape does little to soften the dryness of the Sauvignon Blanc. However, if you like a light, dry wine, which tastes better with food, this might be for you. Rating out of 25  12 {{DRINKS }}
