The industry has a chance to tell government what it thinks about burdensome regulations and how a repeat of the nightmare that surrounded changes to the Licensing Act last year could be avoided in future.
The initiative is being run by the Better Regulation Commission with the aim of reducing unnecessary regulatory burdens. It is calling for businesses to suggest regulations they feel waste time and money. Deadline for submissions is June 9.
Commission chairman Rick Haythornthwaite said: "We are particularly looking for areas where there is room for improvement."
