The Grocer has been shortlisted for four major awards at the PPA magazine awards 2008.
Widely accepted as the UK's magazine publishing Oscars, now in their 28th year, the awards recognise excellence in consumer and business media.
The Grocer has been nominated for weekly business magazine of the year. It is also up for editorial campaign of the year for its Weigh it Up! campaign, which called for a review of the FSA's Nutrient Profiling Model. Editor Adam Leyland has been shortlisted for business editor of the year and business writer of the year.
The Grocer will be among the cream of the UK's trade and consumer press at a gala ceremony on Wednesday 7 May at London's Grosvenor House Hotel. Contenders for the top prizes include the Times Educational Supplement and GQ.
