A familiar face returns to The Grocer next week when Mary Carmichael rejoins the magazine as marketing editor.
Mary began her journalistic career at The Grocer, writing for our Focus On category features, later being promoted to the role of Focus On editor as part of her wider role on The Grocer’s Marketing news desk.
She left The Grocer two years ago to become editor of its sister title MBR (Multiple Buyer & Retailer), taking it to new heights under her successful editorship.
Mary brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her new role, having been an influential writer on brands and marketing issues for the best part of a decade.
As marketing editor, Mary will oversee the marketing team, consisting of deputy marketing editor Stefan Chomka, senior drinks reporter Sonya Hook and reporter Lisa Riley.
