Glenfiddich is returning to TV screens with its first new ad for five years. The image of a stag, which has featured in previous campaigns, is being used to promote the drink's "independent image".
The TV and press push will show the beast pictured in urban scenes including a New York street.
Tim Dewey, international marketing director at manufacturer William Grant & Sons, said: "The Stag represents the heritage of the brand and his environment signifies Glenfiddich's relevance to the modern world."
