Continuing, from last week's Bogof's Week, the story of much maligned soccer club Stoke City. The latest yarn to emerge from around the newly promoted side comes from local Potteries confectionery supplier Mr Lucky Bags. Footie fanatics will know that the last 11 teams who graced the south dressing room at Cardiff's Millennium stadium had gone on to lose. Stoke took that room at their play-off match with Brentford and duly won 2-0. So? As Richardson said this week:"It would be nice to think that we might just have helped to lift the dreaded curse!" Quite how they account for the manager being sacked just five days later is not explained. {{COUNTERPOINT }}
