Wella is adding a colourful addition to its Silvikrin hairspray portfolio.

The latest product to join the range is aimed at 25 to 44-year-old women with coloured and highlighted hair. Wella said the newcomer contained “active colour protectors” to prevent damage from UV rays, said to be a major contributor to colour fade, while giving the same level of hold as other Silvikrin hairsprays.

Trade marketing manager Sally Moon said: “Our research shows that over 10 million women have coloured their hair in the last six months and are looking for products that prolong the life of their colour.” It extends Silvikrin’s hairspray offering to six products.

Rsp is £1.89 for a 200ml aerosol and £2.49 for 300ml.
