The Today's Group is extending its Very Important Trader (VIT) initiative for delivered wholesalers with new core ranging agreements and imagery to plug deals at store level. The new VIT Plus package offers preferential terms to retailers who stock a core range of branded products. Today's has also developed bold new black and yellow imagery featuring the Stop Now! Shop Now! slogan, which VIT Plus members can use on consumer leaflets, shop windows and other printed media from next month. The theme will also appear on instore and local commercial radio to help drive home the great deals available through VIT retailers. Three years after launch, VIT has attracted 800 retailers, and VIT Plus will give it a major boost, said wholesale trading director Nick Barker. "Consumers through the UK will be left in no doubt as to where they can get the stunning deals on offer through VIT retailers," he added. Stop Now! Shop Now! will be incorporated into the Privileged Customer Club for Today's cash & carry members as it expands. {{NEWS }}
