European fresh produce company Total Produce has acquired 92% of Irish health foods distributor Wholefoods Wholesale.
Wholefoods Wholesale distributes to independent health food stores in Ireland and recorded a turnover of E18m (£12m) last year.
Total Produce said it welcomed the opportunity to become involved in the health food sector and expected the acquisition to be earnings enhancing from the date of completion.
