A new magazine offering practical advice to mountain bikers will launch this month. What Mountain Bike? will take an information and product led approach to its subject, as distinct from the lifestyle and fashion emphases of many of the other titles in the market. The launch date has now been put back to April 27. The magazine will have a quarterly frequency and a £3.75 cover price. According to operations editor Mat Brett, mountain biking has survived predictions that it would be a short-lived phenomenon. "What enthusiasts don't always get from other magazines is detailed advice and information on the bikes themselves and the accessories which go with them." What Mountain Bike? will be distributed to the newstrade by Future Publishing. {{CTN }}
