Sir; I was interested to read how the processors and producers of prepacked foods are going to increase their prices to reflect increases in costs and raw materials. If only they were so understanding when buying home produced product. We have had 80% to 90% increase in fuel costs, feed prices have risen, and virtually every other cost has gone up, but we are told to absorb them as we must compete with imported product. Look how understanding the foreign producer is now. Why not treat British producers in a fairer fashion now the foreign supplier has shown his true colours?
