Two senior appointments have been made at Glanbia Food Service. Roger Spicer becomes chief executive and Mike Ader is appointed sales director. Spicer joins Glanbia from Brake Brothers, where he was managing director of Puritan Maid, the multi-temperature food logistics subsidiary. He has more than 30 years experience in the food, fast moving consumer goods and food service sectors, having worked for Brakes, United Biscuits and Cadbury Schweppes. Ader joins Glanbia from Matthew Clark, the UK drinks and wholesale subsidiary of Constellation, which is one of the world's largest drinks companies. Ader held a range of posts within Matthew Clark, rising to regional managing director (wholesale). Before joining Matthew Clark he held marketing positions with Somerfield, Kraft Jacob Suchard, Ranks Hovis McDougall and Heinz. Martin O'Kane, chief executive of Glanbia Fresh Meats UK, will continue as acting executive chairman of Glanbia Food Service in a supporting role for some months. {{PEOPLE MOVES }}
