An updated version of last year's groundbreaking work by William Reed classifying the structure of the entire UK grocery market is enclosed with this week's The Grocer. Led by William Reed Publishing, a committee representing its titles The Grocer and Convenience Store, together with The Knowledge Store, ACNielsen, IGD and Taylor Nelson Sofres agreed a number of refinements and updates to last year's document. William Reed publishing director John Lewis said: "The chart provides data available nowhere else and is accepted industry-wide as the definitive structure.
