Wal-Mart is being sued for allegedly copying clothes designs as it attempts to attract more customers to its clothing lines.

Clothing chain Anthropologie has filed a complaint against the world’s largest retailer accusing it of copying several fabrics produced by its designers. The charges include copyright infringement, deceptive trade practices and unfair competition.

The suit will come as a blow to Wal-Mart as it has lost out to rival Target, which has been able to attract younger fashion-conscious consumers with clothing ranges.
