Wal-Mart is planning to revamp its George label in an initiative led by George global, a new division of the company based in the UK, according to reports in The Times today.

The decision for the revamp was made in an effort to boost flagging US sales in the brand.

The company revealed last week that sales for June were expected to come in at the lower end of the forecasts. It put this down to poor sales over the father’s day weekend and bad weather for the month.
