Ice cream manufacturer Wall's has denied reports that it is to be a corporate sponsor for the Queen's Golden Jubilee celebrations next year. Wall's senior brand manager Ben Pearman said the company had neither sought, nor wanted, such a role. However, it was still hoping to get involved in the jubilee "in some capacity", possibly by organising street parties in towns and villages. Newspaper reports this week suggested the brand's logo would be used at Jubilee events organised by Buckingham Palace, including the pop concert to be held in the palace grounds. Pearman said the reports were "wide of the mark" but admitted the company was in talks with palace officials about the celebrations. {{NEWS }}
