Bottled water brand Evian has teamed up with the tabloids' favourite singer Kylie Minogue. It will be the Princess of Pop's official water sponsor for her 25-date sell-out 2002 Fever Tour in the UK this summer. Some 200,000 limited edition Kylie' Evian 50cl bottles will be handed out to concert goers outside the tour venues. Evian brand manager Anne Olivier said that linking with the star, who purportedly drinks two litres of Evian every day to keep hydrated, was "exciting" for the brand. "It is in keeping with our target audience of 15 to 34-year-olds," she said. "As we promised earlier in the year, we will continue with high visibility brand building initiatives." A marketing spend of £10m is being splashed behind Evian this year with new TV ads due to break in the coming months. An on-pack promotion this summer is also aimed at generating sales with a £125,000 giveaway offering free holidays and beach gear. {{P&P }}
