Whyte and Mackay has signed up to sponsor Edinburgh’s Hibernian football team.
The five-year deal, which is worth £1m, will include shirt sponsorship and branding rights at the team’s ground, where a stand will also be renamed after the brand. As part of the deal, the club will provide office space for Whyte and Mackay’s marketing and sales team.
Whyte and Mackay’s UK brand manager at distributor Maxxium, Aisling Duffy, said: “Hibernian football club has a rich heritage and a high profile in Scotland. The club has one of the largest fan bases of any Scottish football club and we believe it is well positioned to develop its stature further.”
