De Witt is extending its Witch Skincare portfolio with four new products and investing £3m in marketing throughout the year.

Three of the newcomers - an improved version of Clean-Away Cleanser, together with Zingy Fresh Toner and Clear Complexion Moisturiser - contain natural witch hazel, together with vitamin E, aloe vera and camomile. An oil-free Brand New You Face Mask also joins the line-up, bringing the total number of products to 12. All are approved by dermatologists for all skin types, said the company, but are aimed particularly at oily and combination skin.

According to marketing manager Mike Harrison, the new lines will fill gaps in the market. “Moisturisers account for half of total sales within skincare but have long been under-represented within the medicated skincare category,” he said.
