Moneywise magazine, the personal finance title from Reader's Digest, has increased its readership from 188,000 to 242,000, according to igures from the National Readership Survey for the 12 months to September 2002. The number of women reading the magazine has also risen  up nearly 57% to 91,000 readers compared to 151,000 male readers. The rise in readership has been attributed to the arrival of a new publisher, editor and art director, who are focusing on promoting the title and expanding the editorial over February and March. Publisher Jeremy King said: "Never has personal finance been so high on the agenda. Accessible and smart advice, is essential in a complicated world. We are investing in the magazine to ensure our coverage is positioned to take advantage of the growth in interest in personal finance." {{CTN }}
