The Ice variants of the Woody's premium packaged spirit range have sold one million bottles in the three months since they were launched. They have benefited from the explosive growth in the PPS sector which is up 64% in the off-trade and 85% in the pubs and clubs. Beverage Brands marketing manager Karen Salters said: "Young women seem to enjoy the flavours and with some hot summer deals lined up the brand should go from strength to strength." The brand is supported by an £800,000 programme which features sampling, promotional evenings, point of sale and trade press. Vladivar vodka is the alcohol base for Woody's Ice which has 5.5% abv. The three flavours are blueberry, cranberry and orange and the 275ml bottles retail at £1.29. {{DRINKS }}
