Sales up at Russian food company

MOSCOW: Russian food and drink producer Wimm-Bill-Dann Foods has reported a 28.3% increase in full-year EBITDA to $300.5m (£152m) on sales up 38.4% at $2.44bn (£1.23bn). Sales in its dairy division rose 40.2% during the year, with beverage sales up 27.8% and baby food sales up 46.6%. CEO Tony Maher said turnover was boosted by a solid balance of value and pricing, despite a challenging environment and increased raw material costs. "Wimm-Bill Dann is very well positioned going forward," he added.
