Vevey, Switzerland: Nestlé is building a Chocolate Centre of Excellence in Broc, Switzerland. The centre will be Nestlé's first R&D facility entirely dedicated to the development of premium and luxury chocolate and will combine the knowhow of international chocolate-making professionals, sensory experts and packaging designers. "The centre is a further sign that Nestlé sees luxury and premium products as one of its key strategic areas with above-average growth and profit potential over the coming years," the company said. Bharti EasyDay kicks off in India New Delhi: Bharti Retail's c-store chain in India will be called Bharti EasyDay. The first of five stores will open on 2 April with four situated in Ludhiana and one in Chandigarh, according to local reports. The stores are expected to be similar to those of rival chain Reliance Retail and will be about 3,000 sq ft. The move is part of a joint venture with retail giant Wal-Mart to open stores and a cash & carry business in India.
