Former top men at Golden Wonder, chief executive Clive Sharpe and group finance director Steve Boyd, have moved to WT Holdings.
Sharpe has become WT's group chief executive and Boyd has become group finance director.
The business owns a range of food companies in the ethnic and speciality food sector, including Noon Foods and Bart Spices.
It mainly supplies retailer branded products such as Indian chilled foods, oriental and Caribbean ingredients for the major multiples.
Sharpe and Boyd were among six senior personnel who left Golden Wonder in August, after its merger with Snackhouse (The Grocer, August 17, p15).
Peter Jacobs, chairman of WT Holdings, said: "We are delighted to have secured the services of a successful team with a strong fmcg track record. I know Clive and Steve are looking forward to working with the rest of the executive team at WT Holdings to realise the full potential of our food business."
WT said Sharpe and Boyd would be responsible for developing its business overseas as well as in the UK.
Sharpe joined Golden Wonder in 1985. He became divisional director for pot snacks, including Pot Noodle, in 1991. He went on to become chief executive of Home Pride in 1993, returning to Golden Wonder in 1995 as chief executive.
WT Holdings said Sharpe and Boyd's predecessors left to pursue other interests.
