Friskies is lightening the load for owners of fat cats with the launch of Friskies Vital Balance Light  the first lower fat super premium dry cat food in the grocery sector. It has 25% less fat than the original and contains chicken, rice, eggs and brewers' yeast. The resealable pack lasts seven days. The company said today's cats were more likely to be indoor pets and therefore overweight. Original Friskies Vital Balance was launched for the grocery sector in 1999 and claims a 5.9% share of the dry cat food market. Grocery continues to grow its share of the £1.87bn petcare market. Dry cat food and products with a health focused point of difference are big growth sectors. Rsp £1.79 for 450g. {{P&P }}
