A Welsh farmers’ co-op has scooped the Milk Development Council’s award for dairy innovation in retail. Trioni was recognised for its Daioni range of flavoured organic milks aimed at schoolchildren.

Presenting the award at a ceremony in London, The Grocer’s Market Edge editor Richard Clarke said: “The winner pipped its rivals to the post by not only artfully rethinking the genre and rejuvenating the category but also making a commitment to encouraging dairy consumption among schoolchildren.”
