The 'Trojan Pig' built by the National Pig Association to highlight lower welfare standards in imported pig meat is to embark on its third UK tour.

The giant model, which has already visited 22 different towns and garnered £180,000 of free publicity, is part of the NPA's campaign to highlight the difference between domestically produced and imported pork.

The NPA claims that 70% of imports are produced to welfare standards that would be illegal in the UK.
