Twinings is aiming to boost tea sales with a free tea caddy promotion. Consumers can get a caddy by buying one of the one million limited edition 50-bag packs of Twinings Earl Grey and English Breakfast packed inside them. These sport the Twinings black and gold livery with simple designs on a matt black background. The aim is to offer an incentive for new and established Twinings tea drinkers and encourage repeat purchasing. "The new year is still peak sales time for hot beverages," said brand manager Claire Burgess. "So it makes sense to encourage sales of speciality tea at the start of the year too.
