Unilever's I Can't Believe It's Not Butter continues to best its Dairy Crest rival Utterly Butterly, with a 26.1% jump in sales over the past 12 months.

Sales of ICBINB reached £64.4m in the year to 19 March, compared with £40.1m for Utterly Butterly, down 15% [SymphonyIRI]. Much of Utterly Butterly's slump is distribution-related, as it is not currently stocked by Asda or Sainsbury's. Lurpak remains the UK's bestselling butters & spreads brand, up 12.5% to £244.2m.
