Unilever is celebrating a successful six months of Dove Men+Care sales with another burst of TV ads.

The range of shower and deodorant products, which target older men, has sold over 1.5m units since launching in March and been hailed a "great success" by Unilever.

More than 50% of all Dove Men+Care deodorant purchasers were new to the category, said brand manager Paul Connell, adding that 47% of its shower purchasers were also new.

The £4m new push will run until October and include outdoor advertising.
