Stratford’s Wine Agencies is extending its Languedoc offering with a new wine brand from the French region.

According to the company, the dA range has been devised to show what the Old World can do with the benefit of New World winemaking techniques.

The portfolio, which will retail for £7.99 a bottle, includes a Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and a Pinot Noir.

Other varietals planned for the dA range include a Malbec and Reserve Syrah, the first vintage of which will be 2002.

Responding to consumers’ confusion over how French wines are labelled, varietals will be given prominence on the bottles’ design.
