Vegetarian and organic food specialist Cauldron has added a rich-roasted vegetable and feta combination to its pâté portfolio.

It said the pâté could be used not only as a savoury spread, but also as a filling for jacket potatoes and as a dip at social occasions.

“Our full-flavoured pâtés are our most mainstream products, attracting meat eaters as much as vegetarians or partial meat-eaters,” claimed MD David Arrow.

“The natural ingredients attract the health-conscious and the use of interesting flavour combinations attract those looking for premium convenience foods.”

The 115g packs come in cases of six and retail at £1.29 each.
